  • Upon sign-in, you should be automatically brought to the Profile Tab in My Account

  • Click the Back To Admin button to open the Orbit Customer Management Portal

  • You will be brought to the Customer Details Page (if you manage more than one organization with RingFree, you will first have to select the desired customer system)

  • Click the Users Tab to Manage Orbit Users

Users - Manage Orbit Platform Users

This tab is where you can manage who in your organization can access Orbit. This tab displays all User's Names, Emails, Active Statuses, and User Groups (Employee or Admin). New users can be added individually using the + New User Button. You can also upload a CSV File to Bulk Upload users.

If you click on a User, it will bring you to the Edit User Menu. From here you change the Name, Email, and User Role of the Orbit User. Note that Client Admins have access to the Admin Customer Management Portal, while Client Employees only have access to their own extension settings.

In this menu, you can assign an Orbit User a Primary Extension (or change it if one is already assigned). When an Orbit User signs into Orbit, their Primary Extension settings and voicemail is what they will be taken to first. An Orbit User's name and email may be different from the Primary Extension's Settings, so please always remember to update both when making extension assignment changes.

In this menu you can also change the display items per page for a user, see their Active Account Status, and enable Two Factor Authentication if desired.

Note that an Orbit User can be assigned to multiple extensions. Secondary Extensions can also be added in the Edit User Settings.

Always remember to hit Save to complete any changes. Continue reading further articles to learn more about Orbit Users.
