Desktop App: Call History & Redial Guide

Overview

Unified Call History:
The RingFree Communicator Desktop app keeps all your call history: missed, outgoing, and incoming, synchronized across all your devices, including Desktop, Web, and Mobile. Calls are retained on the server for up to one month and automatically refresh each time you log in from any platform.

Accessing Call History

  1. Open RingFree Communicator Desktop.
  2. Go to the Call History section (found in the main window or phone module).
  3. You’ll see your recent calls, categorized as:
  • Missed
  • Received
  • Dialed
Each entry displays the caller's details and the date/time.
    4. Use the search bar or filters to find calls by name, number, or extension.

Redialing a Call

  • Quick Redial:
In the Call History list, find the number you want to call again, then:
  • Double-click it, or
  • Select it and right-click the Call button.
The call will be placed immediately.
  • Speed Redial Option (if enabled):
Your system administrator may have set up a short code (e.g., *149) to quickly redial your last caller.
  • Dial the code to hear the most recent caller’s number or extension.
  • Press 1 to call them back instantly.
