Pick the best available network

  • Avoid public Wi‑Fi that requires a captive portal mid-call. Sign in first, then open RingFree.
  • If Wi‑Fi is poor, switch to cellular data for the call.

Reduce jitter and drops

  • Stay close to the Wi‑Fi access point; avoid congested networks.
  • Don’t stream video or large downloads during calls.
  • If using a VPN, disconnect temporarily to see if call quality improves.

Quick self-tests

  • Make a short test call before important meetings.
  • Try another network (personal hotspot vs. venue Wi‑Fi) to isolate the issue.
